To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he is taking to improve community-based glaucoma services across England.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Health and Social Care
Health services are a devolved matter and arrangements for the commissioning and delivery of primary eye care services differs across the United Kingdom. However, the Department does work closely with our counterparts in the devolved governments to share expertise and identify new opportunities to improve health and social care delivery across the UK, including learning from the different approaches to the delivery of eye care services.
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
