Approximately 7.9% of National Highways operational fleet were manufactured in Britain. The Toyota Corolla Commercial is assembled in Burnaston, Derbyshire, and the hybrid engine is built at the Deeside plant in North Wales. The Peugeot e-Partner Van is built at Stellantis Ellesmere port in Cheshire.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
