To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, pursuant to the answer of 2 July 2026 to WPQ 13776, whether any disposal assets were recovered from those four charities.

Charitable funds were recovered from three of the charities and were transferred to another charity or charities with similar objects (as required by the Charities Act 2011). One charity had no remaining assets that could be transferred.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
