The UK continues to be committed to upholding International Law and will always operate in accordance with its key principals.
The use of UK military bases by foreign governments is governed by a range of longstanding agreements. For operational security reasons, we do not offer comment or information relating to foreign nations’ routine movements.
For export licensing matters, I will defer to my Right Honourable colleagues in the Department for Business and Trade.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
Right Honourable is a form of address used within the House of Commons, for members of the Privy Council. Members of the person’s own party will refer to them as ‘My Right Honourable Friend, the member for [constituency]’. Members of other parties will refer to them as ‘The Right Honourable Lady/Gentleman, the member for [constituency]’. The Privy Council consists of, among others, Cabinet ministers and a number of junior ministers as well as former office holders.
