Improving the cost of living is the UK Labour Government’s number one priority.
That is why we took £117 off people’s energy Bills, expanded the Warm Home Discount, increased the minimum and living wage, universal credit and pensions, and we have frozen the tax paid at the petrol pump until the end of this year.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
