To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment his Department has made of the potential merits of freezing Royal Air Force personnel postings in the context of the geopolitical situation.

The Department has no plans to freeze Royal Air Force personnel movements. Personnel management continues under existing arrangements.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
