Treasury written question – answered at on 21 July 2025.
Lord Fink
Conservative
To ask His Majesty's Government what discussions they have had with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development about economic projections for the UK, and whether those discussions raised specific policy concerns.
Lord Livermore
The Financial Secretary to the Treasury
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an independent international organisation. As part of ongoing engagement with many different stakeholders relevant to the conduct of economic and fiscal policy, the Government engages regularly and constructively with the OECD, and values their independent advice.
The latest OECD forecasts for the UK and other economies were published alongside policy recommendations in their Economic Outlook report in June.
