To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the potential impact of the revised neighbourhood policing figures for 29 police forces in England and Wales, published on 19 March 2025 on the neighbourhood policing grant allocations published on 9 April 2025.

Grant funding allocations for neighbourhood policing in 2025/26 were calculated using the Police Funding Formula.

As allocations were made based on the Police Funding Formula, the revised neighbourhood policing figures have no bearing on the grant allocations.

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
