To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, if he will make an assessment of the adequacy of his Department's processes for collecting mortality data for homeless people.

My department does not collect mortality data for people experiencing homelessness. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) hold responsibility for vital events statistics (such as births, marriages, and deaths).
