To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, whether he is taking steps to ensure that staff in his Department who are under investigation for alleged misconduct are not named before those allegations are proven.

My Department follows Ministry of Justice and Civil Service-wide HR policy when investigating allegations of misconduct. These policies make it clear that disciplinary matters, including for alleged misconduct, are strictly confidential. Confidentiality also applies once the process has concluded.
