To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, if he will take legislative steps to prevent the use of Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation.

The Government has announced its intention to legislate against Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation when parliamentary time allows and is currently exploring appropriate legislative opportunities to do so.
