We are grateful to all Prisoner Escort Services (PECS) staff for all the work they undertake, protecting prisoners and the public. The safety of PECS staff is treated with upmost importance.

We acknowledge the merits of body worn cameras for PECS staff, and work is on-going to make the necessary legislative change to permit this in courts, not just for PECS staff, but Police Officers also.

We continue to engage with SERCO, our PECS provider, as well as the Police, who have been involved throughout the process.
