To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, if he will make an assessment of the potential implications for his policies of reports of intimidation by Chinese intelligence officers towards (a) Hong Kong nationals and (b) Uighur Muslims living in the UK.
The UK Government takes the protection of individuals' rights, freedoms and safety in the UK very seriously. The UK will continue to defend human rights, speaking out and taking action where appropriate - as we have done over Hong Kong and Xinjiang.
