To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment she has made of the requirement to amend the Welfare at Time of Killing (England) Regulations 2015 following the commencement of the Animal Welfare (Sentience) Act 2022.

As part of our Action Plan for Animal Welfare, we are currently looking at a number of improvements that could be made to legislation and practice on welfare at killing.
