UK diplomats continue to engage with international counterparts to support OSCE and EU-led negotiations to secure a sustainable and peaceful settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The UK Government has been clear that the outstanding matters between the parties can only be settled by peaceful negotiation and I reinforced this position with the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers on 15 and 17 September respectively.
