We are investing an additional £53 million per year in children and young people's community eating disorder services from 2021/22 to enhance the capacity of the 70 new or improved community eating disorder teams. We also invested a further £79 million in 2021/22 to expand children’s mental health services to allow 2,000 more children and young people to access eating disorder services. This will increase the number of mental health support teams in schools and colleges to 400 by 2023/24, supporting nearly three million children.
