The UK was the 2nd largest donor to the Global Fund's 6th replenishment with a pledge of up to £1.46 billion. £1.176 billion of our core contribution to the Global Fund has been disbursed as on 20 September 2022, including an additional £60 million payment to the Global Fund's COVID-19 Response Mechanism. This is approximately 80% of the UK's core contribution pledge to the Global Fund.
