To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many full-time equivalent radiographers were employed by the NHS in (a) 2022, (b) 2021 and (c) 2020.

NHS Digital publishes Hospital and Community Health Services workforce statistics for England. These include staff working in National Health Service hospital trusts and clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), but excludes staff working in primary care, general practitioner surgeries, local authorities and other providers.

The following table shows the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) digital and therapeutic radiographers working in NHS trusts and CCGs in England in March 2020, 2021 and 2022.
