To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what steps they are taking to protect employees when expected levels of hot weather make their commute potentially hazardous.

The Government encourages conversations between employers and employees regarding this issue. Employers may have special arrangements in place through contracts and workplace policies, or be able to offer discretionary, informal arrangements.
