Department of Health and Social Care written question – answered on 18th July 2022.
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of the number of complex patients who will have been waiting more than two years for care by the end of July 2022.
No formal estimate has been made, as no centrally validated data is available. However, engagement with the National Health Service suggests a small number of patients with complex cases will have waited longer than two years for NHS treatment by the end of July 2022.
