To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, how much her Department has spent on consultancy fees in (a) 2020, (b) 2021 and (c) 2022; and what the name is of each consultancy contracted.

As per the Department for International Trade (DIT) Annual Report and Accounts 2020/21 ( ) consultancy spend in 2020/21 was £5,782k and in 2019/20 was £897k. This relates to the provision of objective advice to DIT relating to strategy, structure, management or operations in pursuit of its purposes and objective. This has been subject to audit.

The 2021/22 consultancy spend will be published in the 2021/22 Annual Report and Accounts in the coming weeks.
