To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, for what reason there is a delay between a positive decision to issue a visa under the Homes for Ukraine scheme and the provision of a Permission to Travel document.

Homes for Ukraine and the Ukraine Family Scheme make up one of the fastest and largest visa programmes in UK history. In as little as two months we have issued over 100,000 visas, helping Ukrainians displaced from their home country to come to the UK to live, work, study and find safety here.

Once an application has been processed and approved, an official permission to travel letter confirming the applicant can travel to the UK is sent to the applicant if they possess a valid Ukrainian passport.
