To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he has made an assessment of the public merits of establishing public health hubs in areas of greatest deprivation.
Local authorities are best placed to commission the appropriate public health services for their local populations. However, we have established the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities which is exploring ways to support local areas to improve the health of their communities and tackle disparities. We will provide further details in due course.
