To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether the provisions on trade in the new Trade and Defence Pact she signed with Israel on 29 November 2021 will remove or supersede the prohibitions to duty drawback in the UK-Israel Trade and Partnership Agreement signed on 18 February 2019.

On 29 November, the Foreign Secretary and Israeli Foreign Minister Lapid signed a joint memorandum of understanding - accessible here: - committing to the development of a new, bespoke UK-Israel Bilateral Roadmap. This Roadmap will define UK-Israel cooperation for the next decade across the breadth of the bilateral relationship. This memorandum of understanding does not amend any provision in the UK-Israel Trade and Partnership Agreement.
