To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many and what percentage of people are eligible for the flu vaccine in England; and if he will publish a weekly update on the numbers of vaccinations given for flu in England.
Over 35 million people in England are eligible for the free flu vaccine in the 2021/22 flu season. The UK Health Security Agency has not calculated what proportion of the total population of England are eligible for the flu vaccine.
Weekly influenza vaccine uptake reports are produced throughout the flu season and are available at the following link:
