Care home infections and vaccination rates are monitored on a daily basis, using testing data and information provided by care providers using the capacity tracker tool. Data is shared with local authorities via a dashboard to monitor outbreaks and infection rates at local level.

We will maintain a testing regime within care homes and offer booster vaccinations, subject to the final advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, to ensure the care home population and workforce are protected as we progressively ease restrictions.
