To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, pursuant to the answers of 17 June 2021 to Question 13841 and 24 June 2021 to Question 18559 on travel: coronavirus, for what reason it is his policy not to provide the advice and evidence which informs decisions relating to the on-going development of Government policy.
The advice and evidence informing the decisions to designate countries as either ‘red’, ‘amber’ or ‘green’ on the ‘international traffic light’ system, have been deemed to be important to the formulation of ongoing border policy and the release of this information could prejudice decision making.
