To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether her Department has made an estimate of the proportion of people illegally crossing the Channel in the last 12 months who were male.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what information her Department holds on people who have crossed the Channel illegally in the last year, broken down by age.
As part of the processing of arriving migrants who have travelled by small boat, the Home Office collects personal data including age, sex and nationality. Information on numbers of arrivals in 2020 has previously been provided to the House via the Chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee, and can be found at https://committees.parliament.uk/publications/5385/documents/54027/default/.
