To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what estimate he has made of the number of retired nuclear submarines expected to be in long-term storage in Devonport by 2024.

There are currently 13 decommissioned submarines in Devonport. Future out-of-service dates for Royal Navy submarines are withheld as disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the Armed Forces.
