To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will take steps with Cabinet colleagues to use the workplace to promote improved health outcomes for people over 60.

The Department is working across the Government to deliver a range of activity to support workplaces to promote health and work outcomes, including for those over 60.

For example, last summer, in the consultation ‘Health is Everyone’s Business’ we consulted on a range of proposals aimed at supporting employers to minimise the risk of health-related job loss, including by expanding employers’ access to occupational health services and related advice and information. A response to the consultation is due later this year.
