To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if he will make an estimate of the change in the level of annual revenue accruing to the public purse from a national licensing scheme for residential landlords.

The Government has no current plans to introduce a national licensing scheme and as such it is unable to offer any estimate related to such a scheme.
