Any person that is classed as clinically extremely vulnerable can register online or by calling 0800 028 8327 for COVID-19 support.

An outbound call centre was established to proactively telephone clinically extremely vulnerable people who have received shielding letters but not yet registered via the shielding website or automated telephone line, to confirm their support needs. Up to 200,000 calls a day have been made at peak volumes.
