The Government stands ready to do whatever is necessary to support councils in their response to COVID-19.

The Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government (Rt. hon Robert Jenrick MP) addressed over 300 council leaders in England reaffirming the Government’s commitment to giving councils the support they need to contribute to the national effort.
