In the Ministry of Justice, we can confirm that we assess the employment status for tax purposes of contractors according to the 2017 IR35 amendment. We are currently engaged with 297 contractors through the cross-government framework for the supply of workers, of which 179 are currently in scope of the IR35 tax legislation.
