Ministry of Defence written question – answered on 12 March 2020.
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department's premises can be used as polling stations.
Ministry of Defence policy is that irreducible spare capacity on the defence estate should be used in full, and considers the use of its facilities for other purposes in accordance with Departmental policy, where such use is consistent with operational, security and safety requirements. This would include any request to use premises as a polling station.
