To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what proportion of national nature reserves (a) are at and (b) exceed favourable condition.

53% of National Nature Reserves (NNR) are currently estimated to be in favourable condition. Natural England do not have data which distinguishes between NNR units being ‘at’ and units that ‘exceed’ favourable condition.
