Scotland Office written question – answered on 4th March 2020.
To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, how many times the (a) Union Jack, (b) St George's flag, (c) Scottish Saltire and (d) flag of Wales has been flown from the headquarters of his Department in London in each year since 2015.
The Union flag and the Saltire are flown every day from the Office of the Secretary of State for Scotland’s building in London. Exceptions are sometimes made at the direction of the Ceremonials Team at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport - for example, the Armed Forces flag is flown on Armed Forces Day.
