To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether the report of the Record your catches beta assessment on 24 July 2019 was submitted to the Marine Management Organisation for checking prior to publication.

The report on the ‘record your catch’ beta assessment, dated 24 July 2019, was submitted to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) prior to publication. The user research undertaken as part of the assessment was conducted independently of the MMO. The independent assessment report published online in August 2019 does not reflect the views of Defra or the MMO.
