To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential effect on the risk of cyber-attack in the UK from Iran as a result of the assassination of Qasem Soleimani.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) places a high priority on assuring its systems and dedicates considerable resources to assessing cyber threats; we continue to apply all necessary mitigations to combat these threats. However, for the purpose of safeguarding national security, the MOD does not comment publicly on the specifics of our assessments and activities.
