To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have received any requests from the Scottish Government for additional powers to be devolved to the Scottish Parliament in the last six months.

The Secretary of State for Scotland has regular discussions with the Scottish Government on a range of issues. I can confirm that the UK Government have not received any requests from the Scottish Government for additional powers to be devolved to the Scottish Parliament in the last six months.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
