To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, whether her Department has authorised the sale of telecommunications equipment to (a) Saudi Arabia and (b) the UAE for use by the armed forces of those countries to direct operations of their front-line troops in conflict in Yemen.
The Government has a transparent export licensing system and publishes quarterly and annual statistics, including details of export licences granted, refused and revoked. We will not issue any export licences that are inconsistent with the Consolidated EU and National Arms Export Licensing Criteria.
