There are no plans to do so. By embedding energy and climate change in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, we are ensuring that supporting clean growth and taking global action to tackle climate change is joined up with our support for business to invest, innovate and grow. The Government has committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the UK to net zero by 2050.
