The number of pheasant hatching eggs and live birds imported into England from the EU between 1 May 2018 and 30 April 2019 was:

Hatching eggs – 54,600
Live birds – 5,250
All imports were from the USA.
There are no recorded figures for partridge hatching eggs imported from the EU. In addition, there were no imports of partridge live birds or hatching eggs from third countries.
The Animal and Plant Health Agency is not able to determine how many of the above imports from third countries were imported into England.
