To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent assessment his Department has made of the potential role youth work can play in building positive physical and mental health for young people.

Youth work, and the opportunities provided through voluntary, community and social sectors, can make a significant difference to the physical and mental health of young people. In 2015, Public Health England published ‘Improving young people’s health and wellbeing: A framework for public health highlighting the importance and value of youth services’.
