To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the Written Answer by Baroness Williams of Trafford on 18 February (HL13432), whether they have plans to aggregate the number of people claiming asylum on the grounds of religious persecution.

The basis of a person’s asylum claim is recorded on their individual Home Office file, but not in a way that can be easily aggregated.

We do not have any plans to aggregate the number of people claiming asylum on the grounds of religious persecution.
