To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many Point Class Ro-Ro ferries the Ministry of Defence has available and at what readiness.

The Ministry of Defence has four Point Class Ro-Ro ferries available through a Private Finance Initiative (PFI), operated by Foreland Shipping Ltd. They are being held at their standard readiness profiles; one at five days' readiness; and three at ten days' readiness.
