To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what budget has been allocated to the independent review of his Department's work on supporting persecuted Christians.

We will ensure the Bishop of Truro is well supported and has the resources needed throughout the duration of the review he chairs. Final figures for the cost of the review will be published in due course.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
