To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how much was (a) requested in Special Grant funding by South Yorkshire Police for Operation Stovewood in each year between 2015-16 and 2018-19 and (b) provided in Special Grant funding to South Yorkshire Police for Operation Stovewood in each of those years.

Information regarding all Special Grant claims and awards from 2014/15 to 2017/18 has been published on the .gov.uk website at:

In 2018/19 the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner claimed £12 million in funding for Operation Stovewood. The Home Office has, in line with previous years and funding contributions for other major investigations, awarded 85% of the claim (£10.1 million).
