To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent estimate he has made of the cost to the public purse of (a) payroll and (b) non-payroll staff in the Office of Tax Simplification.
As stated in the Office of Tax Simplification (OTS) 2017/18 Annual Report, the OTS’s budget for the year April 2017 to March 2018 was £870,000, of which the pay element was £680,000.
