To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department is taking to support the operation of air ambulance services in the UK.

The Autumn Budget announced £10 million of capital funding to support air ambulance services. In addition to this, air ambulance charities work closely with National Health Service ambulance services, and often receive direct support in the form of clinical staff and equipment.

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
